Payment Options

We have many options available so you can select the payment methods that work best for you.

Set up monthly automatic payments

Make pre-authorized monthly payments through your bank account.

Our most convenient payment option -- also known as the Monthly Automatic Chequing plan (MAC plan) -- comes with many benefits.

  • Have multiple Wawanesa policies? All your payments will be combined into one.
  • Better manage your budget by selecting your own monthly withdrawal date.
  • No more worrying about managing your bills month-to-month

To set up monthly automatic payments for your account, please contact your Wawanesa Insurance broker.

  • All monthly withdrawals are equal to 1/12 of your annual insurance premium, plus any applicable service charges.
  • We’re unable to accept this method in combination with other payment options.
  • If your bank account information changes, we’ll need your updated account information at least 10 days before your next scheduled withdrawal. Please contact your Wawanesa Insurance broker about changes as soon as you can to avoid additional fees.
  • A $25.00 fee is applied to payments returned due to insufficient funds.

Pay online with your credit card

Make a payment online using your credit card.

We accept:

Pay directly through your bank account

Pay your bill through your bank or credit union via telephone or online banking.

Note that separate payments must be made for each policy type you have with Wawanesa. To combine into a single payment, consider setting up monthly automatic payments.

+ Learn more

  • When using online banking to pay your bill, enter "Wawanesa Insurance" when prompted to select a payee. You will then enter your policy number or invoice number; these can be found on your Wawanesa statement or policy documents. Learn how to find your policy and invoice numbers.
  • You may need to speak to your bank or credit union to set up your billing function.

Mail us a cheque

We accept cheques. Please send your cheque and billing stub to:
