Wawanesa Insurance U.S. Operations Increases Support to Communities

San Diego, California  – Wawanesa General Insurance (Wawanesa Insurance) announced today that it is doubling its community support as part of the company’s overall Caring Together initiative to partner with people and organizations addressing COVID-19 related issues and working to end social injustice.

“Our communities are hurting in so many ways. Whether it’s the unprecedented challenge of the COVID-19 pandemic or the issues of social injustice in America, we are deeply committed to working with our community partners to support the essential work they do,” said Chris Henn, President of Wawanesa Insurance, U.S. Operations.

The new funds – totaling $400,000 – will be allocated to Civil Rights organizations, specifically the NAACP and National Urban League; United Way COVID-19 response, food banks and hospital foundations.
