At Wawanesa, community is the essence of who we are.
Our community impact program invested over $1.2 million dollars from 2020 through 2023 to local and national partner organizations across the United States. Our program is rooted in Wawanesa's purpose, to look after one another. It also exemplifies our vision of together building a safer, healthier, and more sustainable future for our members and communities.

My Community Day
Every year, employees receive paid time from work to give back to their local community and earn a $100 Community Impact Gift Card by using their time to donate to a charity or non-profit organization of their choice.
United Way Campaign
Our annual United Way campaign supports local community organizations by bringing together employees across the company. With Wawanesa’s donation matching program every contribution is doubled to make an even greater impact.
