Principle 7: Safeguards ~ Summary
Wawanesa Insurance shall protect personal information by security safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information. The security safeguards protect the personal information against loss or theft, as well as unauthorized access, use, disclosure, copying or modification. The protection is regardless of the format in which it is held, and includes physical measures, organizational measures (such as security clearances and limiting access on a "need to know" basis) and technological measures. Wawanesa Insurance employees are aware of the importance of maintaining the confidentiality of personal information.
